The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, evil spirits, and malevolent powers growing in power within the city.

Heads-up: Revealing details for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will separate from the main group to begin their independent quest, distinct from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Given 13 cast members, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed fight-heavy narrative style where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the developments of episode 3 show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, entering the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The antagonist then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in the region and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in the influential clan could enable the team access locations they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The fighter swore a eternal obligation to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern the city for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are known criminals.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied the powerful family and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This results in them few options but to journey toward the remote area in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Planners parties.

Fans can expect finding out which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
